In addition to developing employee benefits programs and executing employer plan
strategies, BBG's customer support services includes, but
is not limited to, the following ongoing account management services:
Administrative Support
- Serve as the central point of contact for all customers
needs.
- Facilitate the timely resolution of group billing errors and
premium reconciliation.
- Assist employees with provider balance billing and claims issues.
- Organize wellness initiatives including health assessments and
benefit fairs.
- Coordinate and participate in the implementation of new plans
and/or plan changes including, but not limited to:
- Conduct enrollment activities.
- Coordinate the transfer of coverage.
- Facilitate a seamless transition.
- Analyze network disruption.
- Develop benefit comparisons.
- Manage transition timelines.
- Provide premium-added services including, but not limited to:
- Cobra Administration
- Employee Benefit Statements
- Flexible Spending Accounts
- Health Reimbursement Accounts
- Health Savings Accounts
- FSA, HSA & HRA Debit Cards
- Customize “new hire” packets.
Communications
- Provide monthly employer newsletter.
- Advise employer/employee benefit committees.
- Support collective bargaining process as requested.
- Deliver legislative and regulatory updates.
- Convey administrative policies, procedures and plan changes.
- Schedule and facilitate customer expectation's meeting with carriers.
- Conduct premium-added employee satisfaction surveys
- Provide premium-added employee health and wellness newsletter.
Employee Education
- Coordinate and conduct open enrollment meetings.
- Conduct “table sits” to assist employees and answer questions.
- Facilitate carrier communications on new administrative policies and procedures
along with benefit modifications and plan changes.
- Customize premium-added Employee Benefits Statements
- Provide premium-added "new hire" packets.
Financial Benefit Analysis & Vendor Evaluation
- Analyze and provide recommendations on funding alternatives along with plan
design and benefit options.
- Facilitate and participate in periodic review of financial and utilization
reports.
- Coordinate and conduct competitive process for solicitation of proposals.
- Complete benefit and cost analysis of viable options.
- Conduct “site visits” with finalist carriers.
- Negotiate with finalist carriers.
- Evaluate vendor’s financial strength, claims payment accuracy and turnaround
time.
